Synopsis

Three years on a top secret mission with the Marine Raiders leave Dante Bosch desperate to get back to the people he left behind, and what he finds instead breaks every expectation he carried home with him. His fiancée Lilith is carrying his brother Virgil's baby, and on top of that betrayal, Virgil has already spent through every cent of Dante's savings without a second thought. Worse still, his own parents choose Virgil's side the moment things come to light, leaving Dante with nobody in his corner during the one moment he needs support most. After absorbing blow after blow, Dante finally strikes back by playing a video at Virgil and Lilith's wedding that strips away every excuse they have left. Watching him hold back for so long only to deliver that one perfectly timed gut punch is what makes this story worth following to the end.
