Synopsis

Asher is a Dragon King carrying a curse that leaves him with only one path to survival: he must mate with the partner fate has bound to him. Alina never asked to be that partner. Betrayed by her stepmother and handed over to the Dragon Clan as a human sacrifice, she is taken to Dragonstone and forced into a marriage she had no say in. The arrangement carries a brutal catch that neither of them can ignore. Humans and dragons were never meant to mate, and if Asher claims her, the curse lifts at a price: Alina burns alive in the heat of his fire. What starts as captivity slowly tangles into something neither of them planned for, as the monster she was taught to fear turns out to be harder to hate than she expected. Now Alina has to weigh her freedom against a pull she can't reason away, while Asher faces a decision of his own, choosing between saving his own life and protecting the woman he is falling for.
